For the ninth consecutive year, EIF and PEOPLE magazine host the official Screen Actors Guild Awards® Post-Awards Gala.
On the one night that actors come together to honor their own for outstanding performances, EIF and PEOPLE magazine join together to salute all the members of the entertainment industry who help us raise funds and awareness for countless important social issues.
At the event, EIF and PEOPLE magazine present an annual donation to the Screen Actors Guild Foundation to fund reading programs, scholarships, emergency assistance to industry members and other outreach services.
EIF and PEOPLE have teamed up on a variety of charitable causes since 1994. PEOPLE provides donated advertising space and space at a charitable rate for many of EIF's public service campaigns. Thanks to the magazine's reach of more than 14 million readers weekly, the Entertainment Industry Foundation has touched hundreds of millions of people with important health and education messages.
One of the many cooperative charitable causes that has been established through the Entertainment Industry Foundation and People is People Magazine's OUR CHILDRENfirst Fund.
